Mandarin speaking Lay Worker
Kings Cross Methodist Church (West London Mission)

The post holder will be responsible for:


  • Managing the migrant workers service as part of the mission and outreach of the church.


  • Working with the second-generation of the migrant workers who have become members of the Mandarin-speaking congregation.

Are you passionate about using the Church’s property resources for mission?


Do you have a heart for supporting churches with property matters?


Working flexibly and collaboratively with lay and ordained colleagues locally, regionally, nationally and ecumenically, the postholder will provide oversight and support for property matters within the District, with a mandate to help churches better utilise, develop or dispose of their properties in accordance with national and local policies.

Church Community Worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and slef-motivated person who can build on existing work and develop new opportunities. The successful applicant will, amongst other things: 


  • Lead and coordinate an established Toddler's Group


  • Coordinate the recently started 'Digital Inclusion Project' which encourages local people to learn basic computer skills


  • Work with local voluntary organisations and manage interactions wuth the church regarding resources, facilities and equipment


  • Maintain the church website, Facebook and Twitter accounts, keeping them up to date
