The group is convened by the District Treasurer and seeks to offer support and advice to the District & Circuits in the areas of:
District Budget and accounts
Assessments to Circuits
Finding treasurers, independent examiners and accounting support
Getting accounts in order
Training of church and circuit officers in Finance matters
London District Office / Remote
Working closely with the District Chairs & Staff to oversee the financial matters of the London District of the Methodist Church. This includes appropriate financial controls, budgeting and reporting. The District Treasurer, working with the District Finance Group, will advise circuits on financial policies and procedures.
As a member of the London District Council of the Methodist Church, the District Treasurer is a Trustee of the District.

We are recruiting for an Adult Development Lay Leader to work with the 25 to 40s age group in our active and outward looking church, here in Holmes Chapel Cheshire.
You will play a prime role in leading and developing links and relationships within but also beyond the existing church community. You will have a passion and heart to nurture and grow disciples,
and tell the Jesus story in a contemporary and relevant way including use of Social Media platforms.
