The successful candidate will be expected to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in all of the internal, external & communal areas of the of the site. Candidates should also be able to undertake basic maintenance/DIY tasks.

Learning and Community Engagement Officer

Wesley's Chapel, The Museum of Methodism and John Wesley's House

In this key role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a vibrant learning and (inter)national outreach programme for the Museum of Methodism and John Wesley’s House. You will also direct the museum’s social media and oversee its website. You will work in close consultation with the museum curator, Chapel staff and volunteers. You have the skills to produce and deliver creative learning and outreach activities for both formal and informal learners, in-person and online. You will enjoy generating interesting social media content and networking and have an ability to work with a wide variety of users of all ages. You will also have experience in sourcing museum learning grants and manage application processes.

The Learning and Community Engagement Officer will be required to work occasional Saturdays, or out of Mon-Fri working hours, delivering programmed events.
