Former staff members tell us what it was like to be a part of the District Family.

Fola Oyeleye

Former Project Officer

"The District Office provides a healthy blend of working hard, learning a lot and having fun, something which became even more important during the pandemic and national lockdown.  Team socials including a ‘virtual bake-off’, cemented the fun and yet serious interaction between staff.  The team, from management to colleagues are really supportive, and you get to meet a wide range of people from those in London churches to those within the wider UK Methodist community."

Becky Cutcliffe

Former Communications and Project Officer

"There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the District Office, colleagues are kind, supportive and encouraging.  It is usually quite full of people with part-timers hot desking, and  visitors and  colleagues from other offices dropping in for various reasons. The District chairs are also in and out and you feel very much part of a vibrant team – with some good humorous banter to spice up the hard work."

Grahame Snelling

Former District Safeguarding Officer

"A central location in the heart of all the action, spacious and comfortable offices and a great team to work with who know what's important but when to have some fun. A professional approach to all aspects of work and a willingness to support each other by going the extra mile. The team work well together in a collective way so we can achieve our goals without (too much) stress!"
