Safeguarding training within the Methodist Church is currently comprised of two modules: the Foundation Module and the Advanced Module. Both modules are compulsory dependent upon the individual's role within their church.

The District also, periodically, offers facilitator training (Train the Trainer) for those who wish to be able to deliver the Foundation Module within their church and/or circuit.
