Woven into Mark

Mark's Gospel through the eyes of children and youth from rural and urban communities

Bible Month_logo_White.png

Woven Into Mark is a joint initiative by the London and Plymouth & Exeter Districts that explores the story of Mark’s Gospel through the eyes children and youth from rural and urban using ’30 Days with the Gospel of Mark’, the study guide for 2021 Bible Month. The Bible Month is an annual activity organised by the Connexion, that encourages everyone to dig deeper into a particular book of the Bible over four weeks. The Bible Month book for 2021 is the Gospel of Mark.

The vision of Woven Into Mark is to increase biblical literacy amongst our children and youth; and to encourage them to creatively share their reflections and encounter from Mark’s Gospel with others.

We invite children and youth workers, parents and carers from our two districts to encourage their young ones to journey with us through the Bible Month and share their reflections with us. Their reflections can be submitted as a photo they capture by themselves, or a painting or drawing they create. Selected entries will be converted into postcards to be sold to raise money for All We Can.

Reflections can be uploaded from Saturday 1st May – Monday 7th June.
