Gracious God,

Like a mother you give us new life and make us your children in Jesus Christ.

Look on us in your love and bring us to the inheritance which you promised.

Grant this through Jesus Christ your son.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for:

For children and teachers. For all who are in education, all who are starting this new year.

For parents and for carers, for foster parents and for all who nurture our children.

Lord in your mercy. Hear our prayer.

For the London Synod that has taken place this past weekend. And especially for our Chairs, Jongi and Nigel, and for our new deputy chairs, Roz and Faith.

Guide and guard our hearts, O Lord, that we may build your Kingdom.

And this in Jesus name. Amen
