Let us pray.

God of the past and God of the present,

be present to us now in this dark time.

lift us from the depths of our despair.

Pour into our hearts your Spirit of hope.

God of the past and God of the present,

Fill us with the joy of knowing that you journey with us.

God of the past and God of the present,

Guide us and lead us into the light of your kingdom.

May your light and love shine through us to those around us.

God of the past, the present and the future,

Thank you that you hold all things in the palm of your hand.
