Thy Kingdom Come 2019
Thursday 30 May marks the start of Thy Kingdom Come; a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. It started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:
Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ
Pray for God’s spirit to work in the lives of those they know
Come to realise that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayerÂ

There is a wealth of resources and information available in relation to Thy Kingdom Come; and you can find some of those resources below.

Let us know what you have been doing in the run up to Thy Kingdom Come. This can include images of events, dropping off/unpacking resources, prayer stations in churches, signing up to ‘Light up the World’ or partaking in some of the customisable videos.

Trafalgar Square Beacon Event:

On Sunday 09 June, Trafalgar Square will be lit up with prayer as Christians from across the country meet to pray and wait on the empowering of the Holy Spirit.
​
From 12pm - 4pm there will be family fun (children’s activities incl. storytelling, balloon artists, street performers, crafts, face painting, dance, music & prayer workshops). And from 4pm - 6pm there is the Pentecost service of praise, worship, witness, word & prayer
​
There will be music from Thy Kingdom Come Choir, praise and worship with Matt Redman, food, prayer workshops, children's activities and much more.Â
​
Entry is free and tickets are not required.Â
