CTSL Big Gathering: Churches Together for the Climate

Churches Together in South London will be hosting their Big Gathering, with a focus on climate change and how churches can play a role and have an impact in the fight against climate breakdown.Â
​
The event will be chaired by the Bishop of Woolwich, Bishop Karowei and includes speakers from Christian agencies including Tearfund and Christian Climate Action.Â
​
Holly-Anna Petersen has been announced as the guest speaker for this event. Holly-Anna Petersen has eight years' experience in the environmental and social justice fields. She is a trustee of charity Operation Noah and is a coordinator of Christian Climate Action, which has come to be known as the Christian arm of Extinction Rebellion.

Holly-Anna will be joined by Tearfund's Jack Wakefield, students from St Gabriel's College and Reverend Canon Giles Goddard of St John's Waterloo. An array of organisations will also be present and participating in the discussion including Green Christian, CAFOD, Christian Aid, A Rocha and Operation Noah.

Come early and you can also join in with the climate-conscious buffet from 6pm.
