This event is for Methodist leaders and mission-minded people—both ordained and lay—including pioneers, pastors, evangelists, superintendents, and district chairs in the Methodist Church in Britain. Drawing on her experience as a community pioneer and spiritual guide, Elaine will share practical ideas for building a more compassionate and resilient Church. Together, we’ll explore how ancient Christian wisdom can shape modern life—how we lead, serve, and care for our communities, people, and the world around us. Elaine will also reflect on themes from the Gospel of John, offering fresh insight for today.

A fresh look at the person of Jesus Christ through the lens of fringe dwelling and a consideration of how that might spark our imagination.

Celebrate stories of hope, explore theology that sustains, and share practical wisdom for mission at the edges.

Together, we will look with hope to what God is doing on the margins, encourage those already stepping out in faith, and take up the call to reach new people in new and renewed ways with the love of Christ.
