Supervision Awareness Training

The District Chairs would like to encourage all ministers (presbyters and deacons) to attend one of the Supervision Training Awareness Days, which will be taking place on Thursday 28 May (two sessions) and Monday 15 June. The training focuses on being supervised under the Methodist Church's Interim Supervision Policy.

Participants are only asked to attend one session. Please choose from the options below to secure you place.

What is supervision:

Supervision in the Methodist Church is an exploratory and reflective process.  Every ordained minister is required to meet 1:1 for an hour and half with a trained, resourced and approved supervisor to reflect on their vocation and practice at least 6 times per year. Others with significant pastoral responsibility are encouraged to be in supervision.

To find out more about supervision, please visit the Methodist Church website.
