A memorial service and a rededication

Memorial service - Sunday 25 July 2021 - remembering all those who faithfully served in the church at Grange Hill and who have now passed.

Despite the thunderstorms and flooding, a good number of people, including former members of Grange Hill Methodist Church, those involved with the Project and Circuit members, attended the Memorial Service held at Grange Hill. The service was led by Deacon Andy Packer, and prayers for those who had passed and of intercession, were led by the Superintendent Revd Bernardino Mandlate.

The Service was a celebration of those who had served the Lord at Grange Hill, and who are no longer with us, and the Memorial Rose Bed which had been replanted during the lockdown was rededicated.

An outline of the building works starting on 26 July 2021, involving the forming of an additional entrance, lobby, storage, disabled toilet, café and external works, was shared with the congregation, along with details of the community involvement projects started to date.

The Project has raised two thirds of the required monies; £30,000 is still to be raised in order to complete the works.
