Triune God, you invite us to share your love, mercy and peace. May we, in turn, share that same love, mercy and peace in the communities we worship in. O God, you shower us with compassion in times of when our concern for others is weak. You show us grace in a world where kindness is in short supply. You dared to enter this world in Jesus Christ so that we may understand that no place is God-forsaken.

As we seek to serve you, O God, may we have compassion and grace in abundance.

May we dare to love others as you love us.

Now and always.

The Wembley Circuit ask for your prayers for: 

• That the Circuit’s vision to follow the Holy Habits programme may gain momentum and have greater influence among the churches and the communities we serve.

• For greater unity in the Wembley circuit, especially among all levels of leadership, in the four churches and between the four churches.

• For the Superintendent minister, Rev Sonia Hicks, as she takes up the presidency later this year. We pray for a fresh outpouring of God’s wisdom and God’s protection both for her and the incoming Vice President, Mrs Barbara Easton.
