A Prayer from the Bromley Circuit

Loving God,

We thank you that you are always leading us forward to encounter you in different ways.

We pray for our circuit conversations about merging with the Orpington and Chislehurst Circuit. May we know your guidance and wisdom as we seek to use our joint resources more effectively in mission and ministry.

We give you thanks for the faithfulness of the West Wickham congregation over many years.

We pray for them as the church buildings are closed and the members find new places in which to worship and serve. May they know your peace, reassurance and courage during the coming months.

We rejoice that a new church, Freeman Ghanaian Methodist Church, has been established in our Circuit.

We give thanks for those who have responded to God’s call to found and lead this church. We pray the church will enrich the lives of those worshipping there; the life of the local community and our life together as a Circuit.

We offer our thanks and our prayers in Jesus’ name.
