Sharing Best Practice:
PPE and Infection Control
Dear Friends,
This week's best practice session on Wednesday 24 June, is a bit different from those we have held so far. Following conversations with a number of colleagues I thought it would be helpful, as we move towards opening our buildings (when guidance allows), to learn about best practice in infection control and appropriate use of PPE.
Sandy Youngson has been delivering similar sessions for staff in care homes, schools, early years settings, as well as to public sector workers and volunteers in Brent since early April. As he’s been working from home, I’ve heard the presentation as it has developed in response to changing guidance and feel it would be invaluable for ministers and other church leaders to have the opportunity to engage with this important subject.
The aim of the session will be to help participants gain a clear understanding of how to manage the spread of infections with particular reference to Covid-19 and their work setting.
The session is a little longer than usual, at 90 minutes, allowing time for questions. We will commence at the usual time of 11am. You can enjoy a break from Zoom, as this session comes to you via MS Teams. Do not worry if you don't have the 'MS Teams' app or don't wish to download it as you will be given the option to join via your web browser. You can use any internet connected device, however we will be sharing slides, so you may find a larger screen easier to view.
