A Prayer from the City Road Circuit

God who speaks unto all peoples in their own tongues and tones, we pray for

the mutual flourishing of all churches which faithfully serve you in this city. That

we may build each other up, expanding the numbers of the saved and bringing

comfort to all who read your gracious word.

We pray for all your servants, that we may see a glorious flourishing of the

church in this time and place.

We pray also for all those in need of hope, we pray that they find the stillness

and peace of mind to begin noticing the hope available to them.

And we pray for ourselves as well, that we take the time to slow down and

connect with the new hope you offer us this week.

Finally, we pray for those that are alone or isolated. We pray for companionship

and community, and the discovery of new friends and fellows. We pray for a

blossoming of Christian fellowship.

All this we ask in Jesus name. Amen.
