Probationer Committee Member

Purpose and Objectives

The Probationers Committee meets with Probationers at least once a year to consider reports on them and interview them in order to make recommendations to the District Synod concerning their probation.

Time commitment:

At least two full weekdays a year (9am-5pm approximately, usually in late February) and up to two other meetings a year for training, preparation and/or reflection (usually in November and mid February), with additional panels as needed and according to the availability of committee members.
