Saturdays @ 5.30pm

- produced for Premier Radio in partnership with the London District of the Methodist Church

Travellers’ Tales is a half hour interview between Leo Devine and Christians from different denominations - perhaps well known, perhaps not - about their life/faith journey, and how they’ve experienced God working and moving through all of its twists and turns. It’s a chance for listeners to get an insight into how someone else does their faith, and be inspired by hearing stories of love, dedication, doubt, grace, courage, sacrifice, and hope.

About
Leo Devine

Leo worked in journalism at the BBC for 35 years. He was a reporter, presenter, producer, radio and TV editor, and senior leader. He ran four of the BBC’s TV regions, producing thousands of hours of radio, TV and online output. He was Head of Journalism Production for the BBC’s Nations and Regions, and was also Head of Editorial Standards for BBC News.

He’s now a freelance editorial, presentation and management consultant. Currently, Leo is back at the BBC consulting on a major business transformation project. He’s also Journalist in Residence at Plymouth MARJON University.

Leo studied theology at the College of Ripon and York St. John and was accepted in 1981 to study for the Roman Catholic priesthood. However, love quickly intervened and Leo married Angela in 1984. They live in Cornwall and have two grown up sons.
