September Synod Round-Up

The first Presbyteral Synod of the new connexional year took place on Saturday 14 September 2019.

Worship was led by the New River Circuit, who graced us with beautiful hymns to kick start the day.

The key theme for this Synod was the Marriage and Relationships Consultation and this section of the day was led by Revd Geoffrey Farrar, a member of the Marriage and Relationship Task Group.

When Revd Youngson took to the stage, we were regaled with tales of 'the Methodist Welcome', where food invariably features heavily. She took us through her year as President of Conference and to the many different places she had visited.

Revd Jongi read us the Bible verse both passionately and spiritedly, before we were led in Holy Communion by Revd Nigel, Revd Michaela and Revd Jongi.
