Employment Consents
The London District’s Employment Consents Group provides approval and guidance to churches and circuits across London in their recruitment processes by overseeing role descriptions and the supporting documentation to ensure compliancy and good practice.
All salaried roles within the District at either church or circuit level must be approved by the Employment Consents Group via the form below.
The Group aim to respond within 10 working days of the submission being received with all relevant supporting documentation. To ensure that your role is more likely to be approved, please take some time to gather, prepare and/or review the following areas:

Job description which clearly sets the duties expected of the role holder and outlines the basics terms and conditions of employment (e.g. salary, hours, location of work, contract type etc.).
A template for job descriptions can be found here or examples of job descriptions and person specifications can be found here.

Budget Forecast
The budget forecast for the role, including annual uplifts and additional employer costs.
See here for examples of budgetary considerations.

Person Specification
