Worship Task Group
The Worship task Group was set up in 2007 for two years to respond to the ‘District Challenge for the recruitment and training of Local Preachers and Worship Leaders’.
It brings together the District Local Preachers’ Secretary and Assistant LP Secretary, with the District Worship Leaders’ Secretary and Assistant WL Secretaries. The WTG has helped to develop the Faith and Worship Access Course to pilot a new approach to LP training.It is helping the Connexion to develop a new training resource for Worship Leaders.
It organizes regular training events for those concerned with developing high quality and relevant worship for our congregations, Local Preachers and Worship Leaders.It is available to offer support, advice and practical help on many aspects of worship
The group has developed the ‘District Worship Directory’
