Continuing Learning Contract (CLC)
The CLC will operate for three years from the date of the preacher’s accreditation service.
- It will cover defined areas of theological and biblical study that meet the Faith & Worship Learning Outcomes.
- A retreat programme might be the appropriate option for some candidates.
- On the basis of the course as anticipated, there may be particular needs for CLC commitment to study aspects of the Old Testament, the ‘Human Condition’ (F&W Unit 11), and Church History (F&W Unit 16).
- If the preacher begins candidating for ordained ministry soon after accreditation the preacher is not required to continue with this contract. However, if the preacher is not selected for ordained ministry, after some time of reflection, the student must inform the District Course management and resume the continuing learning contract.
