District Network: There is a District lay workers network.  Regular meetings are arranged to give the opportunity to meet, relax together, discuss shared issues or take part in some training. If you are paid or voluntary you are welcome to join in.  Contact us for more details

District Challenge News
In response to the “District’s Challenge” to find 40 new Local Preachers, the Congregational Development Commission is very pleased to give the following updates:

• Local Preacher’s London Course 1 (2009-10) -- 19 people completed.
• Local Preacher’s London Course 2 (2010-11) -- 21 people on the course (finishes in May)

Around the District there are 46 Local Preachers on note and 115 on trial. There are also 15 with extensions that are continuing to train. Finally there are 240 worship leaders around the London District.
